The Vegan Kind

It’s my favourite time of the month, vegan subscription box time!

If you haven’t heard of The Vegan Kind, they are a vegan subscription box, with both lifestyle, monthly boxes filled with yummy goodness,  and beauty boxes that come every three months. I am subscribed to both, and often find myself sitting in anticipation waiting for them to arrive! All of the products I have received so far have been AMAZING, and I probably wouldn’t have found any of it myself, so having an awesome company do the hard work of sourcing great quality vegan goods for you is not something to pass up.

This month’s lifestyle box arrived today, so I thought I’d show you what’s inside.

First things first, the box always supplies you with a great new recipe to try out, and this months is a delectable bean soup, which I cannot wait to try as it is freezing here in the UK! In your sixth box, the company provide you with a nifty ring binder to keep all of the recipes safe, creating your own mini cookbook!

Probably the thing I was most excited about in the box: Soffle’s pitta chips. After only opening my box about 20 minutes ago, these are already gone, and they were amazing. It’s a good job you can order them online as they are definitely a new favourite. Not only do they taste delicious, they are made using 100% natural ingredients, meaning no additives or preservatives that are found in many other snack foods.

This month the box came with a little carton of rice milk in one of three flavours, chocolate, coconut or pineapple, and mine was the latter. I can’t wait to try this on my porridge, that’s if it lasts until tomorrow… We will see!

The next thing in the box is super exciting! It’s a bright green wristband in support of ‘Veganuary’. If you’re not sure what this is, its basically a worldwide movement that encourages people to try going vegan for the month of January, with many people converting after this time, once they realise that it isn’t really that hard, and you can still have great tasting food that doesn’t always include kale. Who needs beef jerky when you can a much yummier and cruelty free version? Snact is an awesome company, using surplus fruit that would otherwise be discarded, into scrumptious snacks!

This huge chocolate bar came with this months box, and I’m excited as it it meant to be rich and creamy, exactly like regular milk chocolate, just without the dairy! It is said to have helped many people overcome the final hurdle, of chocolate, to become fully vegan!

Not only is the packaging super cute, this healtht chocolate brownie is made using whole and raw vegan ingredients, and is gluten free. It comes in two bite sized portions, meaning that you can save some for later too!

Last but not least, is this Dr.Organic hand and nail cream, made from a variety of essential oils, which helps to protect and soften the hands without leaving them greasy, meaning you don’t have to sit for hours not touching anything after using, which is a god send.

I’m super excited to get tucked in to all of these products, and already can’t wait for next months box! If you get the subscription box too, be sure to let me know what you think of all the products!
